A Scandinavian chalet located on the picturesque Kingsdown Park Holiday Village in East Kent. Kingsdown is an unspoilt village about 8 miles east of Dover with many places of historic interest close by. Site facilities include a heated indoor swimming pool, club house (entertainment - high season) bar, tennis, crazy golf, games room, laundry, shop and restaurant. Horse riding and 3 golf courses close by. Surrounding area rich in history. Beach and 3 village pubs (2 with real skittles) within half a mile. 1 ½ hour drive to London.
Out and About
Kingsdown Park is a 35 acre woodland site located on the clifftop and overlooking the private beach. The beach is not sandy but a low tide there are many interesting rock pools to explore. It is a 5 minute walk to the beach, although there is a sharp incline when you return to the site thus the walk is not suitable for those with mobility difficulties. It can be approached via car if preferred. The Zetland Arms Public House is on the water front and there is an award winning tea rooms close by. The village is also host to two other pubs, both with a real skittle alley.

|  The premises are located within this complex of 149 chalets, most of which are privately owned. The accommodation comprises , on the ground floor - a double bedroom, bunk room, bathroom with w.c., lounge/dining and galley kitchen(full size cooker, fridge),there is a twin bedded open plan room upstairs. The chalet sleeps 6. It is extremely well equipped including TV, video, cd player, sun loungers. Cot and highchair in situ. The chalet is south facing and has rear sun decks so that, weather permitting, visitors can enjoy the sunshine all day.
The chalet has been extensively refurbished over the past 3/4 years and is regularly maintained to provide a high standard of homely and comfortable accommodation. I like my visitors to feel that they are staying in a home from home. Your accommodation will be cleaned prior to your arrival. I do ask, however that the accommodation is left in a reasonable condition upon departure. The chalet is probably among the best available to let on the Park. In providing quality accommodation my visitors are not disappointed and many return again and again. In peak season you will need to book early to avoid disappointment.
