Heron View is in the grounds of our 16th Century, Grade II listed thatched cottage, 1/4 mile across the River Arrow from the Roman town of Alcester.  

Out and About: 

Heron View in Oversley Green is a 10 minute walk from the Roman town of Alcester with its abundance of historic buildings including the beautiful ancient St Nicholas Church, and many pubs. Nearby is Ragley Hall and just 3 miles out of Alcester is Coughton Court, famous for its connection with the Gunpowder Plot and also the link with Mary Queen of Scots.  Warwick Castle is just 25 minutes away by car.

Keen walkers will appreciate the local countryside and nearby Oversley Woods. There are many National Trust properties including Hidcote Gardens all within an easy drive of Heron View. Whether it be a romantic break or a 'culture holiday' taking in a trip to the Royal Shakespeare Company at Stratford, Heron View will not disappoint.

This beautiful ground floor cottage/apartment is in a peaceful hamlet but only 10 minutes from the friendly Roman town of Alcester. This luxury accommodation sleeps two in a huge superking bed (can be split into twin beds) and has everything to ensure you have a wonderful memorable stay near Stratford-upon-Avon. There is gas central heating and all linens and towels are supplied in with the price. Pretty gardens run down to the River Arrow where you can spend time fishing for 'all kinds of fish on all types of bait!'
