The cottages have been converted to a high standard from the old village bakery complex and retain the original exteriors and character while offering modern interiors with every convenience, literally the best of both worlds!  Kirkmichael sits in the geographic centre of Scotland and is ideal for touring the mountains, lochs and glens, visiting the many stately homes and visitor centres in this historic part of the country or enjoying the retail and leisure facilities of the cities of Perth, Edinburgh or Dundee.  For outdoor enthusiasts, the Cateran Trail long distance walk passes through the village, there are lovely signed walks of all types, good loch and river angling, a huge choice of golf courses within easy reach, off road driving, extreme sports such as rafting, canoeing and gorge walking and in Winter ski-ing and boarding at Glenshee.
