MEADOWVIEW AND THE STABLES COTTAGES
Our Meadowview and Stables cottages are situated in Pickford Place - a Conservation Area of the old market town of Chapel en le Frith in the Peak District of Derbyshire, England.
PICKFORD PLACE
Pickford Place was formerly a Mews with old stone buildings from which we have created the cottages. It is situated close to the Market Place where there are shops, restuarants, takeaways, pubs and banks.
CHAPEL-EN-LE-FRITH
Not far from the Spa town of Buxton, Chapel is a small market town of pre-Saxon origin. The historic cobbled market place is surrounded by old stone buildings and contains Stocks and a 17th Centuary Market Cross.
THE PEAK DISTRICT OF DERBYSHIRE
The Peak District National Park is an area of outstanding beauty, with a great variety of landscape. Even in the busy season it is never as crowded as other holidays areas in England. There are panoramic views around every corner, clear mountain streams with waterfalls, lakes and forests, vast open moorland, huge outcrops of rocks and impressive gorges.
The Peak District also contains many Stately Homes such as Chatsworth, Haddon Hall, and Lyme Park - settings for an number of notable TV dramas.
