Traum Traum is a cottage, all on one floor, standing in its own 6 acre grounds, about threequarters of a mile from the centre of the village of Evanton. It has lovely views over the Cromarty Firth, up to mountains and Fyrish monument in the North, and looks down to the River Glass (AlltGraad).

  The house has one double bedroom with a double bed, with an adjoining WC and basin. There is another double room with twin beds and a washhand basin, a single room and a separate bathroom with WC. So the house sleeps 5. All the beds have electric blankets. In addition there is a sun-room porch, a sitting-room with open fire, colour television and lots of books, a dining-room and a kitchen. There are 4 night-storage heaters and other electric heaters. Wood for the open fire is supplied.
Out and About
Evanton is about half an hour's drive North of Inverness, and is a good centre for exploring the Highlands. The village has one hotel and two more restaurants, a general store and a post office. There are good supermarkets in Dingwall (6 miles) and Alness (4 miles).

Prices include linen and cleaning at the end of your stay. Electricity is extra, taken from a reading of the meters, at the rate charged by the Electricity Board.
You are welcome to use the telephone. If you only want to receive incoming calls then no deposit is needed. If you want to make outgoing calls then I may ask for a deposit. Calls are charged at lOp per unit.
Traum is not suitable for young children as there is a steep bank dropping down to the river at the back of the house.
