The surrounding area offers a wealth of activities including golf courses, (St Andrews is about 25 miles away), and excellent cycling and walking, including the Fife Coastal Path. It is adjacent to the renowned Scottish Equestrian centre which offers horse riding at all levels, and Cluny Clays, within three miles, offers clay pigeon shooting, archery, a golf driving range, and a wide range of children’s activities. Tennis and squash can be arranged at a local sports club. And for a cultural break, Edinburgh is an easy drive away, or can be accessed by rail in 30 minutes direct from Kirkcaldy. For shopping, Kinglassie is 1 mile away with local shops and, despite being in the heart of the country, Fife central retail park with supermarkets and other large stores is four miles away. There is a wide range of restaurants to suit all tastes and pockets within easy reach.
