The Windmill stands in my garden. It was built in1824 as
a working grain mill, but is now fully fitted out as a modern dwelling sleeping
up to 4 people. The ground floor of the mill is a large garage with washing
machine. The steps lead up to a large, round first floor room which is a living
area with a big south facing window overlooking the magnificent countryside.
There is a double bed that pushes half under the worktop to form a settee
during the day. The kitchen area has a modern electric cooker, small fridge and
freezer, toaster, coffee maker and iron etc. Above the living area there is the
bathroom with W.C. and one single bedroom. Above that is another small bedroom,
with a 3ft single bed that has the ability of becoming two separate single beds
or a 6ft double. All electricity is included in the weekly charge. The mill is
carpeted throughout, it is well equipped and comfortable and there is a colour
TV with DVD player. I provide crockery, cutlery, pillows and blankets but
prefer you to bring your own sheets, towels and tea cloths. (If however you are
