Maymear Cottage is at the end of a terrace of five cottages in the picturesque village of St. Tudy. The cottage provides an ideal base for exploring the whole of Cornwall. It is within 20 minutes' drive of the spectacular north Cornish coast, the historic fishing villages of Port Isaac and Boscastle, the sandy beaches of Rock and Polzeath and the wild and mystical Bodmin Moor.
Only half an hour's drive to Padstow and The Eden Project. Slightly further afield are the resorts of Newquay and Bude on the Atlantic coast and Looe, Polperro and Mevagissey on the south coast and so is Truro, the cathedral city and county town of Cornwall. For the more active there are golf courses, swimming pools, riding centres, numerous walks and the Camel cycle trail nearby.
The village has a pub providing good value food, post office and stores selling most provisions, papers, cards etc., an attractive church and children's playing field.
The cottage has a gravelled parking area at the front with space for one car. The accommodation sleeps up to 4 people and comprises:

- Fitted kitchen with fridge/freezer, washing machine, dishwasher, microwave, electric cooker, toaster. Ample crockery, cutlery and cooking equipment.
- Dining room with wood burner stove.
- Utlity area and back door leading to garden.
- Separate w.c. and washbasin.
- Lounge with choice of open or electric fire, colour T.V., understairs cupboard with iron and ironing board etc.
Upstairs:
- Main bedroom with two 3 ft singles which can be linked to form a 6 ft double.
- Second bedroom with two 2 ft 6 ins beds that can be linked to form a 5 ft double.
- Bathroom with bath and electric shower over bath, wash basin and w.c. Heated towel rail Airing cupboard with hot water tank. .
ALL LINEN & TOWELS ARE PROVIDED.
Please note there is no cot or highchair provided in the cottage. Heating is available in all rooms, either by convector or night storage heaters. ALL ELECTRICITY IS INCLUDED. An initial supply of logs is provided during cooler months, further supplies of logs/coal can be purchased from most local garages.
Outside is an attractive enclosed garden with patio and lawn areas. Garden furniture available. Rotary clothes line.
Well behaved pets are most welcome provided they are kept off the furniture and not left unattended in the property. An advance grocery order can be arranged for milk, eggs, bread etc.
