Parkmore Holiday Cottages is a complex of Holiday Homes formed by the conversion of the old steading, farmhouse and bothy at Parkmore Farm, near Dufftown in the heart of Speyside, Scotland’s malt whisky country. We provide you with all towels, linen, electiricty, and gas so you just need to bring yourselves!
Here in whisky country you will discover the best that Scotland has to offer: spectacular scenery, coastlines of cliffs and caves, harbours, long sandy beaches, castles, and charming towns and villages. All of Parkmore properties are also in easy reach of the coastal and castle trails.
From the fertile plains of the Laich of Moray join ‘The Speyside Way’ – one of Scotland’s official long distance foot paths. Extending from Buckie on the coast and continuing up the Spey to Aviemore, the route offers mainly walking terrain through magnificent scenery. The area has many other walking opportunities for the more adventurous.
Play golf on championship courses or coastal links. Horse ride, fish, sail, cycle, go dolphin watching on the Moray Firth. Why not visit some of Scotland’s most famous brands such as Johnstons of Elgin cashmere visitors centre in Elgin or Baxters highland village in Fochabers. There really is something for everyone to enjoy in this area.

|  A large farmhouse dating back several hundred years fully modernised and able to sleep up to 10 people in 5 bedrooms. The master bedroom has a super-king size bed with its own dressing room leading to a large bathroom equipped with a bath and toilet, separate shower and a separate toilet.
Another bathroom may be found on the same floor with a toilet, shower and bath. One of the bedrooms is on the ground floor where there is another toilet. The lounge is equipped with colour TV and DVD player. A large fitted kitchen with table able to seat 10 in comfort and large porches at each end of the house complete the ground floor. The house has its own laundry facilities, is centrally heated, with a log fire in the lounge and the kitchen. There is ample parking and the house has the benefit of a private walled garden and gas barbecue. Please note that we do not allow smoking or pets in this cottage.

It has a fully equipped kitchen, separate shower, a wood burning stove in the living area and is bursting with character. The views from the top balcony are exquisite. It comes complete with its own barbeque house and is a great place to relax and get away from it all.

The Bothy is detached with its own extensive and well-tended garden and is sheltered by mature trees to give a feeling of private space. The garden boasts a decked area to the rear of the property, looking over to the large lawn, and pond. There is also a gas barbeque available. The Bothy benefits from having its own parking space outside the cottage.
The Bothy has a double bedroom, lounge, very well equipped kitchen, a double shower and separate toilet. Extensive wood panelling, under floor heating and a log-burning stove mean the visitor’s comfort is assured. Please note that we do not allow smoking or pets in this cottage.

|  The Neep Shed is the newest addition to Parkmore, sleeping five people in three bedrooms, one single and two doubles both of which have their own en-suite shower, wc & wash hand basin. The cottage also has a separate bathroom next to the single bedroom.
The kitchen is fully equipped and together with the standard equipment offered, also has a dishwasher, and freezer.
The spacious, open plan, living area offers exquisite views of the surrounding hills and boasts a wood burning stove for those cosy nights in. | | | |
